Empire patinated and gilt bronze fire place fender with beautifully recumbent lions facing each other. Each set above a gilt bronze-mounted application depicting a winged Amor riding a lion, symbolizing conquering love, joint by a fender made of patinated bronze trellis work decorated with alternating gilt bronze stars and flower heads on each crossing. The fender can be adjusted to a width between 120 cm and 135 cm (47.24 inches and 53.15 inches).
