Feine Edwardian Sterling-Silber Heißmilch-Kanne, England/Sheffield, 1904

Edwardian sterling silver hot milk or water jug, having a plain octagonal panelled and bellied body with a beak style spout, a black wooden handle and cast finials, domed lid with hinges, sitting on an octagonal pedestal feet. Made by Mappin & Webb of Sheffied in 1904. Hallmark visible on the neck, the underside bears the retailer's mark of 'Mappin & Webb Ltd/Sheffield & London'. Weight is approximately 570 gram (with handle).
