A 19th century French game table with chess board marquetry on top unfolding to double the size revealing a green felt covering. The frieze with two drawers and a centered pull-out slide above a two doors featuring the spines of vintage leather books concealing an interior shelf. A small and elegant table with the utilitarian function of a chess, card and game table. In excellent restored condition displaying the luster and brilliance of a shellac polish.
