Feines Paar Louis-XV-Ormolu-Kandelaber, Frankreich, ca. 1740

A fine pair of Louis XV ormolu two-light candelabra on a shaped circular base with a tapering octagonal stem and a baluster finial, issuing two scrolled arms supporting cylindrical sockets. The top part consisting of candle arms and finial removable transforming the candelabra to a candlestick (see photo). Of high craftsmanship with superb ormolu gilding.
