Paar dekorative Konsolen im Louis XVI-Stil, Frankreich, 2. Hälfte 19. Jh.

A pair of narrow Louis XVI style console tables, each with a rectangular white marble top above a fluted frieze centered by a ribbon tied giltwood urn on a dark green background and paterae on the corners. The tables are raised on fluted tapering legs headed by an Ionic capital and terminating in bun feet. The pair originates from a private collection in North Italy, most likely made to fit to a specific interior. Its narrow design often desirable for a hall entrance situation.
