Paar exzellente Louis XVI-Stil Mahagoni Guéridons, Frankreich, Mitte 19. Jh.


A fine pair of two-tiered circular stand or guéridon, the circular breche d'alep marble top framed by a pierced gilt bronze gallery above a gilt-bronze mounted frieze depicting paterae and berried leaves, containing a hidden drawer (opening by a mechanism). The gueridon is raised on four tapering legs surmounted each by finely chased ram's heads, and united by a circular undertier with corresponding pierced gilt bronze gallery.
