Seltener Kabinettschrank mit Marketerie in Flechtwerk, Frankreich, um 1770

Elegant and rare in size veneered cabinet in trellis marquetry, most probably in bois satiné and boxwood, on four tall square tapering legs united by an undertier with further trellis marquetry. Legs ending in bronze sabots. One panel door decorated with an ormolu keyhole surround, inside veneered with burl maple. A luxury item designed to show off the expensive veneer.
